 Welcome back blog. For some reason good things never seem too long for me. Previously in my other blogs i explained how it was looking so good. Saint realized today that the movie was wayyyy longer than what the limit was. We tried trimming and trimming and speeding up the credits but it still wasn’t long enough. No matter how much we tried it originally we just couldn’t get it into the 2 minute mark. Sydney out of no where came up with a great idea. She said why don’t we completely rearrange the movie and only add the important clips of us talking. So that’s what Saint did she added the kidnapping scene and us at the mall at the beginning. She added a little thing so the viewers can know what happened and the change of scenery. She sped through the none important parts and trimmed it down. Originally there were a lot of clips of us just talking that didn’t add to the scene. The only thing I don’t like now is how this first 2 minutes pretty much tell the whole movie. It doesn’t give the feeling of us going to look for her or anything. The first two minutes explained why she got kidnapped and all. I’m just glad we were able to spin the clips we had around. 

For the CCR we decided to go with the interview path. According to Julie she have a good “interviewer voice.” I’m glad she agreed on doing that since i wasn’t so sure how I was going to do that. Now i just need to start planning out the answers I’m going to say. I need to make sure the answers are lengthy. Planning the answers and getting ready to edit them together is all I have to worry about for the CCR now. Once again I’m glad she wanted to do that, it took off part of the weight on my shoulder. However Julie doesn’t want to use a teddy bear she wants it to physically be us there. I dont think that’ll work out for me since I was planning on reading there answers off my computer. We have to have another talk about the CCR. I think using the teddy bear and interview ideas would come great together, like how it did when I worked with Sydney in the first assignment.

  Welcome back to our next and final genre research movie. The movie we chose was All the Bright Places.     The first thing we noticed about the opening sequence was the location since they were on a bridge.     The viewers can automatically assume that the bridge has some meaning to one of the main characters since she was standing on it. We want our location to have importance to the opening scene. We want people to be able to guess that the location holds an importance but not exactly what’s going to happen just by seeing the location. Viewers don’t learn the true meaning of the location in the opening sequence however they do learn the meaning of it by the first 10 minutes. Since we’ll only be filming the opening scene we will show the true meaning at the end. The opening scene only was at one location. Research blog: Commercial

 Hey guys, I'm back with another blog. When I found out I had to do a commercial million of ideas came to mind. I than shortened the list to sport drinks, however, choosing which kind of sport drink was a no brainer. What better brand to do than Gatorade. Before starting my Gatorade commercial, I did some research on what other producer have done in sports drink commercials. Majority of the commercials the actors are partaking in physical activity.  The Mise-en-Scène in each commercial are very similar, the costumes consist of tennis shoes, leggings, tights, shorts, a sports bra, loose t-shirt, bathing suit or a sports teams uniform. The settings are sometime, inside of the gym, or outside on the court or field. Props are usually simple things like a ball, football, basketball etc. , a towel and the drink.  Based on the setting of the commercial, the lighting changes. Genre research: Black Panther

  Welcome back to my blog. These next few blogs will be about movies my group and I chos e to research and use to build our opening scene on.   The first  movie we chose was Black Panther. The first thing that the audience  hears is a child and their parent voice.  The story turned out to be the  background  story  of where the dad is from Wakanda. Which  leads the movie to a sandbox  type  of thing that  demonstrated  and drawn out everything the dad was saying as he was saying it.  Once the story was done being told, the year and place of the Movie was displayed on the scree n, 1992  California.  During this  the audience can clearly see the relationship between the characters.
