 Welcome back to my blog. As predicted Spring Break was a blast, but not much time to do things relating to the movie. During the break I went to visit my future college, Florida International University. I also spent time with Family and friends. Even though the school year is almost over, I needed a break from all the stress of school. I also spent most of the break working. The day is near though. The day were everyone set every other plan aside so we can record the parts needed together. Since the movie deadline is slowly approaching us. We need to stop postponing it. We need to give ourselves times to reshoot clips if need be. We'll most likely need to reshoot clips since we usually forget to shoot certain things the correct angles. We also need to stop postponing it because we never know how much time St. Flore will need to edit the movie all together. Since I edited the last project we worked on together, the music video, I know how much work goes into it. Picking the right version of a clip and not making sure I don't delete the right one before using it. Adding the right clip in the right spot. Adding music in the right part of the music video. Overall it was just all a lot and I'm glad I had a lot of time to edit it. It'll only be fair if St. Flore got the same chances. That's all for today. Au revoir..

  Welcome back to our next and final genre research movie. The movie we chose was All the Bright Places.     The first thing we noticed about the opening sequence was the location since they were on a bridge.     The viewers can automatically assume that the bridge has some meaning to one of the main characters since she was standing on it. We want our location to have importance to the opening scene. We want people to be able to guess that the location holds an importance but not exactly what’s going to happen just by seeing the location. Viewers don’t learn the true meaning of the location in the opening sequence however they do learn the meaning of it by the first 10 minutes. Since we’ll only be filming the opening scene we will show the true meaning at the end. The opening scene only was at one location.  Hey guys, I'm back with another blog. When I found out I had to do a commercial million of ideas came to mind. I than shortened the list to sport drinks, however, choosing which kind of sport drink was a no brainer. What better brand to do than Gatorade. Before starting my Gatorade commercial, I did some research on what other producer have done in sports drink commercials. Majority of the commercials the actors are partaking in physical activity.  The Mise-en-Scène in each commercial are very similar, the costumes consist of tennis shoes, leggings, tights, shorts, a sports bra, loose t-shirt, bathing suit or a sports teams uniform. The settings are sometime, inside of the gym, or outside on the court or field. Props are usually simple things like a ball, football, basketball etc. , a towel and the drink.  Based on the setting of the commercial, the lighting changes. Genre research: Black Panther

  Welcome back to my blog. These next few blogs will be about movies my group and I chos e to research and use to build our opening scene on.   The first  movie we chose was Black Panther. The first thing that the audience  hears is a child and their parent voice.  The story turned out to be the  background  story  of where the dad is from Wakanda. Which  leads the movie to a sandbox  type  of thing that  demonstrated  and drawn out everything the dad was saying as he was saying it.  Once the story was done being told, the year and place of the Movie was displayed on the scree n, 1992  California.  During this  the audience can clearly see the relationship between the characters.
