Storyboard blog: Commercial
Hey guys, I'm back and today I'll be sharing my storyboard plan for my up coming commercial ad for Gatorade. Like I've said before this commercial will include two sports, swimming and track. Throughout the commercial as seen on my storyboard, I will be using different transitions to move from scene to scene. The beginning of the commercial will be a track shot of the actors walking through a store to buy the product. Once they reach the product I will zoom into a two shot of the actors drinking the product. Than I will insert a transition to move to the swimming scene. The swimming scene will start with an over the shoulder shot of an actor looking inside of the fridge looking for the product. The type of view will change into a close up shot. During this close up shot I will put it into a slow motion view of the actor drinking the Gatorade. After this close shot I will add another transition to move the audience back to the actors on the track. I've decided to insert a voice in the back ground here of someone saying "On your mark." Inserting this will cause the track runners to get into position. Here another transition will be inserted. The audience will see the swimmers in a wide shot in their on your mark position ready to leap into the pool. A transition was inserted next. Since I have yet to use a wide shot during the track scenes. I've decided to film this clip with this shot. They will be in the get set position. By now a pattern can be seen, yup you guessed it, a transition will be put here for the swimming scene. The audience will have a nice point of view shot of the pool. The end of the commercial will be either a zoom or a reverse zoom shot of a Gatorade bottle.
