Planning Blog: Commercial

Hey guys, I'm back with another blog. I plan on showing two different story lines. One story line will follow 2 track stars whereas the second storyline will be about swimmers. The actors for the track portion of the commercial will be seen on the track for majority of the shoot. They will be seen interacting before running and seen running.  However there will be a clip where they are seen at the store buying the product, Gatorade, after they are done racing. These actors will be wearing tights, leggings, or gym shorts paired with a t-shirt. If their hair is long it will either be put in a ponytail or wearing a headband so the hair could be out their face. The swimming clips will only take place in a pool. These actors will be wearing bathing suits, swimming caps and they maybe wearing swimming goggles. On October 22, 2020, I started my research. On October 23, 2020, I finished my research and planned out the commercial. On October 27, 2020 , I plan on recording all the track clips. On October 30, 2020 I plan on recording the swimming clips. On October 31, 2020 I plan on editing all the clips together. On November 1 and 2nd I plan on adding any last minute finishing touches. Living in Florida, the weather is unpredictable. If it starts to rain on the days we have planned to film, I will turn one sport to basketball.  The other activity I'd use is working out inside of a gym. Also with the Corona Virus going around if one of the actors get sick they will either get replaced if there's time or I will end up replacing them in the scenes they were supposed to be in. Hopefully Florida and everyone's health cooperates and I can stick with plan A.

  Welcome back to our next and final genre research movie. The movie we chose was All the Bright Places.     The first thing we noticed about the opening sequence was the location since they were on a bridge.     The viewers can automatically assume that the bridge has some meaning to one of the main characters since she was standing on it. We want our location to have importance to the opening scene. We want people to be able to guess that the location holds an importance but not exactly what’s going to happen just by seeing the location. Viewers don’t learn the true meaning of the location in the opening sequence however they do learn the meaning of it by the first 10 minutes. Since we’ll only be filming the opening scene we will show the true meaning at the end. The opening scene only was at one location.  Hey guys, I'm back with another blog. When I found out I had to do a commercial million of ideas came to mind. I than shortened the list to sport drinks, however, choosing which kind of sport drink was a no brainer. What better brand to do than Gatorade. Before starting my Gatorade commercial, I did some research on what other producer have done in sports drink commercials. Majority of the commercials the actors are partaking in physical activity.  The Mise-en-Scène in each commercial are very similar, the costumes consist of tennis shoes, leggings, tights, shorts, a sports bra, loose t-shirt, bathing suit or a sports teams uniform. The settings are sometime, inside of the gym, or outside on the court or field. Genre research: Black Panther

  Welcome back to my blog. These next few blogs will be about movies my group and I chos e to research and use to build our opening scene on.   The first  movie we chose was Black Panther. The first thing that the audience  hears is a child and their parent voice.  The story turned out to be the  background  story  of where the dad is from Wakanda. Which  leads the movie to a sandbox  type  of thing that  demonstrated  and drawn out everything the dad was saying as he was saying it.  Once the story was done being told, the year and place of the Movie was displayed on the scree n, 1992  California.  During this  the audience can clearly see the relationship between the characters.
