Title Research: Art of the Title Website
I am looking into the “artofthetitle” site because it’s an interesting site that is focused on intriguing movie titles. This site brings awareness to things that we typically look over when watching a film. When you first click on the website they’re displaying movie credits from a 1957 movie which has an article underneath. It also has two drop downs above that labeled “Title Sequences” and “Designers + Studios.” “Title Sequences” shows you different information about the film you choose. “Designers + Studios” gives you different names of designers and different studios. When you scroll down, they have four things you can click on. They have “Top 10 Title Sequences of 2020”, “The Queen’s Gambit”, “Final Destination: The Title Sequences”, and “The Silence of the Lambs.” The “Top 10 Title Sequences of 2020” article was published on December 27, 2020, which is the very best in 2020 title design which is chosen by their panel experts. “The Queen’s Gambit” was published December 19, 2020, where the designer and animator speak on their work for their show. The “Final Destination: The Title Sequences” article was published November 25, 2020, showing a tour of the opening titles. “The Silence of the Lambs” article was published November, 11, 2020, and it basically describes the opening.
