CCR: Commercial

 1. My product was a Gatorade commercial. Gatorade is known as a sports drink so in a majority of their commercials are actors are seen partaking in a sports. The sports range from track, cheer, soccer, swimming, and etc.  When created the commercial I decided to use the convention. My actors were seen partaking in many sports, they were also seen wearing the clothing usually seen in Gatorade commercials. This represented my social group of athletes because it shows how they favor Gatorades over other sports drinks. It also showed how they drink it before doing their sport.

2. I feel as if my product was engaging. My product focused on two different storylines instead of one, thus for grabbing the attention of more than one type of audience. The viewers had to pay attention to the whole commercial even if they were only paying attention for one storyline. I made it so by intertwining the storylines instead of completely separating them. If I could upload this commercial anywhere I would put it during sports events. During a football game, soccer game, baseball game etc. Since it's a sports drink it'd make since to put it during a sports event. More importantly I'd put it during a track event or a swimming event. Those viewers would feel more connected and want to buy it more.

3. My filming skills greatly improved during this product compared to my previous product. In my previous product i only used one angle while filming. In this product I used several different angles to make sure my product could come across as good as possible. I used the Point Of view Angle when filming the water as if I was the swimmer getting into position. I used the side angle when recording the track athletes during their first clip. I used different camera movements. Unlike the other product I also added audio that didn't originate with the recording.  I also edited different clips into different speeds. Overall, my growth was humongous from my previous project to this one.

4. To get to the final execution of this product I had to use, my phone, a laptop and two different editing apps.  I first recorded the different takes on my cellphone. I then used IMovie to trim and place the clips all into he right position. I knew I needed a background sound since I didn't originally plan lines for the actors to say. I had to screen record the theme song for Rocky. Add that clip and use it as a background sound while I turned the sound off for every other clip. Later that day I uploaded the video onto Google Drive and opened it on my laptop on ClipChamp.

Au Revoir.
